Here we go again with the "silencing religious speech" from the bible beaters about hate crimes legislation. Unfortunately for the fringe, this argument doesn't even make sense since existing hate crimes laws have not resulted in anyone religious cleric going to the pokey for screeching homophobic rants from the pulpit. {Citizenlink):
The U.S. Senate is expected to vote on legislation Thursday that could pave the way for religious persecution. This is an out-and-out lie they repeat over and over. Focus on Your Family's Ashley Horne bleats:The "hate-crimes" bill, being considered as an amendment to the Defense Authorization bill, would create a new class of crimes based on a victim's "actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity." And, pastors who preach against homosexuality could end up prosecuted if they are found to have "induced" a hate-crime against a self-identified homosexual by preaching from the Bible.
"Gay activists have and will continue to use these kinds of laws to silence Christians who speak publicly about God's design for human sexuality - and make them pay if they stand up for their beliefs," she said.If these bigots want to be intellectually honest about this, they should call for a repeal of hate crimes laws altogether.

Joe exemplifies how one person speaking up can really make a difference. He is truly a great American. Sean Hannity, Fox News Hannity s America , Syndicated Talk Radio Joe's story is the iconic American tale. He's a patriot who became instantly famous for simply asking a question that millions of us wanted asked. As my friend Sean Hannity would say, Joe is a great American! Mike Gallagher, Syndicated Talk Radio Joe The Plumber - Fighting for the American Dream is the Inspiration Guide for the New Conservatism. Get ready to get Angry, Laugh out loud, Cry, Shout, and Get Involved in the Future of the United States of America! You know some conservative think tank will buy a buttload of copies to give away to pump up the sales, but I seriously doubt the teabaggers are going to line up to read this ghostwritten POS. WingNutDaily's fawning coverage reads like a parody, however we did get an idea of Joe's relationship with the Man Upstairs and politics.Reviews

Asked if he has plans to run for public office, he replied, "I hope not. You know, I talked to God about that and he was like, 'No.'"

This past Monday, a PDC employee left a message with F&F PAC, reminding them that their expenditure report was overdue. By law, the deadline was July 10th. Since then, F&F PAC has filed two more contribution reports, but still no expenditure report.
Here is why the expenditure report is so important. Besides telling us how donor contributions were spent, attached to that report is the In-Kind donation report. In-kind donations may include other entities providing you with paid signature gatherers, for example. Until F&F PAC files its missing expense report with the in-kind contribut ion attachment, Washington voters won't know whether they've been hoodwinked by Randall & his local collaborator Larry Stickney in their claims that this is a local grassroots campaign.
Apparently Gary Randall thinks it's ok to flout Washington law and hide information from the public that every other political campaign must provide. Pretty ballsy for an out-of-stater.
