The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports this morning that the city council voted last night to extend non-discrimination provisions to transgender people. Cleveland joins the Ohio cities of Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Oxford, Toledo, and Yellow Springs in banning private sector employment discrimination on the basis of gender identity.
