Gay actor blesses his day of liberation

Charlie David, 27, plays Chase, a college student's gay friend who unwittingly tears a family apart. The tension erupts when his hunky character stirs the dormant homosexual impulses of his pal's father during a visit to their lakeside cottage.

Although it's ideal for the gay and lesbian market, David hopes Mulligans will resonate with a wider audience.
"It's about the family unit. How does family life go on? What decisions does each individual make? How does a wife deal with a husband who has cheated? How does an eight-year-old girl look at her parents and the potential they may be splitting up?"
