Homo Erectus Remains in New Museum Exhibit Blasted by Creationists

Members of evangelical churches in Kenya, led by Bishop Boniface Adoyo, plan on picketing the Nairobi National Museum unless the new Human Origins exhibit is changed so that it doesn't portray evolution as fact.

The world's most complete skeletal remains of homo erectus, Turkana Boy, is at the heart of the exhibit. "I do not dispute that as humans we have a history but my family most certainly did not descend from apes," said Adoyo.

"Science is at the very foundation of our ability to deal with the new century, so if we bring it down to the idea that science may be un-Christian -- well, how stupid can you get?" said Turkana Boy's expedition lead, Richard Leakey.
